You’re probably thinking “what or where is Oresund”? It’s the ditch of water that separates Denmark and Sweden, though this has been remedied recently by modern mankind with the Oresundbridge which connects the cities Copenhagen (Denmark) and Malmoe (Sweden).

“Come closer”  is the title of a tourist guide for the lesbian and gay visitor to the Oresund region. And with the World Outgames taking place from 25th July – 2nd August 2009 in Copenhagen, this might just be the place to be next summer.

The guide includes addresses for shopping, restaurants, accommodation and simply everything you can think of. It also comes with a map for the entire region and has markers for important addresses.

Remember our Country Portrays of Denmark and Sweden? Now you’ve got even more reason to visit those wonderful Scandinavian countries which, despite all their differences, have their openness towards the LGBT community and being pioneers for same-sex unions and marriages in common.
